MMO Tales - Gunbound

Yes, not one but two. Reason being, one of them's not MMO-related, so I had to include the MMO-related one.

Again, Gunbound section, no Rakion section, blah blah blah.

Stungripped

The MMO-related one. It's about Rakion, specifically about a move/tactic in Rakion called "stungripping".

(If you don't care what stungripping is, skip this paragraph. You'll still be able to get the poem.) To understand stungripping you'd have to understand gripping. Basically to grip you have to be standing right in front or behind someone, and click both mouse buttons. You'll now attack them with good damage (2-4 hits, depending on which char you are, or in the case of mage frontgrip, you'll freeze them). They won't be able to escape or do anything during the grip, and attacks go through you until the grip is over. In order for it to work, you must be positioned correctly and your opponent must be in some sort of delay. One way to reliably make that happen (and if you're primarily a gripper, you'll want reliable opportunities) is by stunning, which is when you left-click once (single swing), which makes them flinch. When done correctly, that will create a short delay for you, and then you can go in and grip. Alternatively, if you're a ninja, you can stun-lock them while you get around him so that you're facing his back. This is better because ninja backgrip is 4 hits and hurts a lot more than frontgrip.

The poem itself sounds a bit sadist. Any poem I try to do on Rakion turns out this way. I can't help it D:

Single swing. Guard. Feign special. Slash.
Two ninjas meet each other on the stage.
Upon the stones the blue and red sides clash
Not breaking focus, not giving in to rage.
Glancing blows at first; then Blue's swing hits.
Repeating stun after successful stun
Inching closer, circling to Red's back
Presently he grabs, a second split
Permitting no escape for Red to run.
Empaled, one two three four, breath he lacks.

Snippets

This is a poem, but it's also not a poem. Lemme explain.

Basically, today during first period I randomly heard a person say something, and another person say another thing that rhymed with the first thing, and I was like "ohay that's... kinda catchy." So when I was coming back home, remembering this, I randomly decided to concoct a poem out of random chatter I've heard today.

Every two lines is a different "scene", if you will. And none of this (with the exception of the last two lines) is from me, they are all other people's dialogue. Not a 100% faithful rendition, but essentially.
